I’m going to summer camp on July 30th and I would really like it to be gone by then. I can’t afford Proactive at the moment and several people told me it doesn’t work anyway. I also don’t want to go to a dermatologist. Is there any products that actually work but arn’t extremely expensive. I am also open to home remedies..such as toothpaste or lemon juice. Many people get acne scars that fade away after some months… but I’m paranoid that mine are going to be permanent… is there any way I can tell if they are going to be permanent or not without just waiting?
I know the acne itself will go away, its the scars that have been left behind that I worry about. I cant get prescriptions either, it’s too expensive, and I have no insurance, if that would even cover anything.

My skin is pretty clear, but every now and then, I will get small break outs on the forehead, nose, or cheek area. I make sure I wash my face twice a day. I know you can use acne spot treatments and I do. Is there anything to help my skin other than face products? Also, does sugar make your face break out?
